Scott and I returned home yesterday after spending a week and half down in southern Ontario visiting family. We had Scott’s family dinner on the 17th. His parents rent out a hall and ~40 of us were able to make it this year to share a great meal and spend the evening catching up.  It was great that Scott and I were able to spend some quality time with his parents this past week. (None of us is getting any younger:)

Christmas Eve was spent at my sister & brother-in-law’s house in Dundas, ON where we played a very inappropriate, but hilarious, card game. (I can’t recall the name of the game) Always tonnes of food and their 12′ tree was something to behold.
We had Christmas dinner at my brother and sister-in-law’s house in Waterdown ON. This is the first time in a decade that we’ve been able to spend Christmas with our families.  Great food and even better company!!! Nothing beats spending time with family!

Road conditions were a little dicey coming home yesterday but we made it home just before the freezing rain began in our area. We had a high of 6C late yesterday afternoon and I was amazed to see how much snow melted off our front deck throughout the day. Just spending a quiet day today remembering family!!!
