Glen Echo Policies, Terms and Conditions

Reservations

We require a deposit of $400.00 per cottage, which will be refunded immediately in full if you cannot be accommodated. No post dated cheques. We do not roll deposits over to the next calendar year. 

Equipment reserved will be charged for in full, unless cancelled 30 days before start of vacation. We reserve the right to substitute accommodations and equipment should the need arise due to circumstances beyond our control. You do not have a reservation unless your deposit has been received and confirmed by us in writing.

Refunds

No refunds for late arrivals or early departures. No credit given if facilities offered or equipment arranged for is not used.

Cancellations

A $100.00 administrative fee applies to all cancellations.
The balance of your deposit is returned to you provided 60 days notice of cancellation was received and the vacancy created by your cancellation has been re-rented failing which, deposit is forfeited. Those who cancel within 30 days of their arrival date will be liable for 100% of the total value of the reservation.

Payment

Please be prepared to settle your account in cash, Interac, VISA or MasterCard. Sorry, no personal cheques accepted.

No Shows

Guests, not showing up at the pre-arranged time and date without giving notice by phone constitute as “no shows” and will be held liable for 100% of the total value of their reservation.

Check-in and Check-out

Check in time 3:00p.m. Check-out time 9:00a.m. Other check –in and check-out times by prior arrangement. If you arrive sooner please be prepared to wait. Late check-out charge $25.00 per hour or part.

Restricted Items

NO pets of any kind, firearms, fireworks, jet skis or ATVs.

Visitors


ALL VISITOR REQUESTS MUST BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE.
Visitor fees may apply.
If you are at the maximum occupancy for your cottage then we do not allow any extra visitors. This ensures all of our valued guests have full access to all amenities. 
We reserve the right to limit the frequency of visitors.

Liability

Glen Echo and it’s owners will not be held liable for any damages, injuries or losses incurred by our guests while on our premises or while operating our boats and motors. Guests are responsible for the actions and safety of their children and guests.

Facilities

Facilities offered at Glen Echo are for the exclusive use of our registered guests and used solely at their own risk. We do not employ a lifeguard therefore please supervise your children accordingly.

Damages

Guests are fully responsible for all damages and losses to boats, motors and other equipment, however caused. Please note that broken, bent or nicked propellers, skegs or lower units etc., as a result of collision with submerged objects etc., or broken window panes do not constitute “normal wear and tear” and will be billed at cost. All damages to Glen Echo property and/or malfunctioning equipment must be reported immediately.

Noise

For the enjoyment of all concerned, absolutely no music that can be heard outside your cottage.
ALL QUIET AFTER 11:00PM. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at anytime.
