Mother nature is definitely not co-operating this season! We have cancelled opening weekend and will make a decision in the next couple of days regarding the weekend of January 8th.

The above picture shows conditions as of December 27, 2015. Our local weather network is reporting a low of -24C tonight but the Ontario weather network is showing a low of -16C.  We’ll see who is correct. It will be interesting to see how much, if any, ice is built up overnight:)

We’ll eventually get out for the 2016 Ice Fishing season!!!
