Dave and the guys had no luck fishing in 27′ of water at the east end of Smith island (typically a great location)but last night I moved a few huts into the shallow water and relocated them for the evening.  I gave them my five minute demo on how I ice fish when walleye are biting incredibly softly and they ended up catching a few walleye in both huts.  So, despite Tim suggesting I’m nuts, we moved  all but three huts today.  Due to the success our guests have had fishing in shallow waters, we have moved all the huts there.  Hoping this weekend is as successful as the last two weeks.
