The above photo shows the guys removing the floating docks. They have the system down so it only takes a few hours to remove them all.
It’s hard to believe that our 2024 season has come to an end. It’s staggering how quickly the years are flying by:)
We want to thank all of our guests this past season and hope to see you all again in the future.
As all of our current guests know Scott has always done a project in the fall. Our last guests left just 9 days ago and not only has he blown out the water lines, had the septic cleaned out, removed all pumps, put all boats and floating docks away but he’s already built a new courtesy dock.

As it’s supposed to rain today he’s down in Baybreeze Cottage putting a new coat of Varathane on the kitchen doors.  (I had mentioned how they could use another coat and low and behold he’s doing it the next day.:)
We’ll see what other projects and gets up to in the next couple of weeks.
As for me, the ladies and I got all the cottages cleaned and closed up and all laundry, including all mattress protectors have been washed and put away. I’m just debating on whether enough leaves have dropped for me to go out and blow the leaves away or if I should wait for a strong wind to blow the rest of the leaves off the trees…I hate doing it twice:)
