Scott & I have been enjoying our backyard the past few weeks. Nothing better than heading out on Callander Bay to fish or to just admire a beautiful sunset. It’s been a little cool the last few nights but I’m holding off on starting our wood stove. Usually once we start the wood stove it’s going non-stop till April:) I’m just not ready to load up daily with firewood.
The two groups who left yesterday both caught some beauty fish. Extremely large pike, hefty Smallmouth Bass and Walleye were being caught this past week. The one group caught a 36″ pike and 2/3 keeper Walleye within a few hours of arriving on Friday. Glad to see the fishing is turning on again as the prior week or two the fishing had been relatively slow.  Here are a few photos of some of our catches!
