Well the April showers have arrived. It’s wet, cool and really just a miserable day out there today. Woke up to 8C this morning but it’s cooling down to 4C this afternoon.  I stocked up on the firewood for the wood stove which should see us through the next couple of days.

Scott’s spending this morning getting the hatchery set up for re-stocking. I’m hoping the spawn is a little early this year so it doesn’t interfere, too much, with getting ready for opening.
As if it’s not chaotic enough at this time of year!!!

My hat goes off to all the operators who volunteer their time to look after the restocking efforts.  The hours and days they spend looking after restocking takes them away from their businesses @ the busiest time of the year. Kudos to you guys!!!

I spent Friday & part of yesterday raking and throwing down some grass seed. I’ll have to remember to rake in the fall because it truly sucks raking when there’s still frost holding down the last layer of leaves:)
