Scott’s been hard at work the past few days. The new pine ceiling is up and he’s working on installing the flooring in Lakeview Cottage.

I’ve painted all the bedrooms and the bathroom and once he’s done with the flooring I’ll be painting the living/dining/kitchen area. (Don’t worry….Scott’s picked the colours:)
Place is looking great!

Woke up to -17C this morning. Hopefully this is the last deep freeze of the season. Supposed to go to -9C this afternoon and then return to warmer temps for the next couple of weeks.
What a difference a day makes! Yesterday I was in North Bay wearing just a spring jacket and now I’m back to the winter coat/hat/scarf & gloves:)
We have purchased a new queen size mattress for Edgewater Cottage. (Changing the double for a queen – our guests are sure to appreciate the change). The loveseat in Edgewater Cottage also needed to be replaced so I purchased a new one from Sears yesterday.
