Beautiful new shelving
Scott installed this beautiful new shelving unit he built for our store.
He took some of the old pine he took out of Lakeview Cottage and built this lovely unit. On the spur of the moment he decided that instead of burning the pine he’d use it to make me some shelving as it was desperately needed for the store. (He was tired of seeing boxes of sweatshirts:) This was way more than I had anticipated – it always amazes me how quickly he can “throw” something together.
It’s almost time to sit down to write “the list” of things that need to be completed before opening in May. It starts off with half a dozen things and then blooms to 3-4 dozen things that must get done before opening.
Woke up to -21C this morning, thankfully it’s supposed to go up to 7 or 8C by Tuesday. I’m hoping we have an early Spring as there’s a lot of painting I want to get done before May.
