How unfortunate that the weather did not co-operate on our first fall weekend. The temps dropped over 10C & the rain came down.

It was a tough weekend of fishing. Actually, this was probably the slowest stretch of fishing we’ve seen all year.

The groups who visited earlier in September had phenomenal weather and stellar fishing so it’s unfortunate to have the sudden slowdown. Scott did go out for a few hours on the weekend with some of our guests and they did find a good fishing hole. (They caught 20 Walleye, several Perch & Rock bass). Those who know the area well caught fish while those unfamiliar with the area were having a more difficult time landing the fish. “That’s Fishing”!!!

Just a reminder that we close October 16th and will not open again until the 3rd Saturday in May. We are taking the winters off!!!
