Scott & I headed out onto Lake Nipissing to do some fishing last night. It was another great evening of fishing.

Even though there wasn’t much wind the lake was very choppy last night.  (We went out in our personal boat – we wouldn’t have been able to stay out on the lake in a smaller boat).

When we came in from the lake it was like night & day comparing the conditions on the lake to the conditions in Callander Bay. Very choppy on the lake and like glass on the bay. So glad we are in such a sheltered location.

We caught loads of fish last night. We caught, Perch, dozens of Walleye, several Smallmouth Bass and a couple of Sheepshead drum fish. (They always give a great fight) We found a spot and anchored and I swear every 2 minutes Scott was pulling up another fish. I didn’t even count the number of fish we caught.

We don’t take for granted how lucky we are to be able to head out whenever we want to go fishing!
