Scott and I got out fishing again this evening. The last few days the wind has been so strong we haven’t been able to get in any fishing. We went for a boat ride yesterday but the wind picked up and it was an extremely bumpy ride home. I’ve never seen so many white caps in Callander Bay.

This evening was a beautiful evening to be out on Callander Bay. We just went across to Smith Island and found we had the most success around 7 p.m. I caught 3 Rock Bass, 15 Perch and 2 beautiful Walleye. (They may have even been keepers but we didn’t have a tape measure onboard) Scott caught several Perch and 4 lovely Walleye.  What a great way to spend a few hours in the evening.
