WOW!!! Yesterday it was a high of 10C and woke up this morning to the outdoor thermometer reading 9C at 6:00 a.m.

Scott and I went for a walk down on the lake and I’ve discovered that my winter boots are not completely waterproof. We were walking in over 3″ of water.  Tim and Scott were both out on the lake yesterday and had said how much snow was still in the channel but this morning it was practically snow free.

At this rate the ice will be gone in no time!!! We had lightning last night and a few hours of solid rain this morning. The rain  and the warm weather has gotten rid of 90% of the snow on my front deck.

So glad all the huts are off the ice!!!
