February 5-7 – Weekend Report

Two thirds of our huts had a successful weekend unfortunately some of the huts didn’t produce despite the guys fishing hard in those huts.
(We are always disappointed if the guests don’t catch)

Scott had just moved all huts so it was unknown whether the spots would produce. Although fish have patterns that we, as operators, try to take advantage of the fish occasionally don’t co-operate.

So often a hut will produce one weekend and not the next.

Scott and I went out at around 6:30 p.m. to do some fishing. More so to get me out of the house I’m going stir crazy!!! We went into one of the huts that didn’t perform very well this weekend and managed to catch the above fish. OK, Scott caught the above fish, a mud puppy and missed 2 others while I couldn’t catch a cold. Scott is much better at ice fishing than I am….He really works to bring them in.
All in all it was a successful hour and a half of ice fishing!
