High of -13C today. It was very comfortable out there today. We will be opening January 22nd weekend.

Scott’s been out on the lake flooding for the last 3 days.

Ice conditions look promising although we have a significant snowstorm heading our way tonight. The weight load of the snow will likely push water up onto the ice – combine this with the rising temps on Friday and Saturday makes us glad that we’ve chosen to open on the 22nd.

Scott will take the huts out over the next few days and then flood underneath the huts to try and prevent any water coming up from the holes we’ll be drilling under the huts.
