According to a news story in the North Bay Nugget today the  Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry may take over the responsibility of restocking Lake Nipissing with Walleye.  http://www.nugget.ca/2015/06/23/mnr-considering-restocking-lake-nip

The MNRF Minister Bill Mauro says he’ll try to get to North Bay this summer to discuss concerns and issues.
