• A deposit of $400.00 per cottage is required to secure a reservation.
• Reservations are not confirmed until the deposit has been received and confirmed in writing by us.
• Deposits will be refunded in full immediately if we are unable to accommodate your booking.
• Post-dated cheques are not accepted.
• Deposits cannot be rolled over to a future calendar year.
• A $100.00 administrative fee applies to all cancellations.
• If cancellation notice is received 60 days or more prior to arrival, the remaining balance of the deposit will be refunded only if the cottage is successfully re-rented. If the vacancy is not re-rented, the deposit is forfeited.
• Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are subject to 100% of the total reservation value.
• No refunds or credits are provided for:
• Late arrivals
• Early departures
• Unused facilities or equipment
• Guests who fail to arrive at the pre-arranged date and time without prior phone notification will be considered no-shows.
• No-shows are liable for 100% of the total reservation value.
• Reserved equipment is charged in full unless cancelled at least 30 days prior to the start of the vacation.
• We reserve the right to substitute accommodations or equipment due to circumstances beyond our control.
• Final balances must be settled using cash, Interac, VISA, or MasterCard.
• Personal cheques are not accepted.
• Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
• Check-out: 9:00 a.m.
• Alternate times may be arranged in advance only.
• Early arrivals may be required to wait until the cottage is ready.
• Late check-out fee: $25.00 per hour or part thereof.
• All visitor requests must be approved in advance.
• Visitor fees may apply.
• If your cottage is at maximum occupancy, no additional visitors are permitted.
• We reserve the right to limit the frequency of visitors to ensure equal access to amenities for all guests.
• The following are strictly prohibited on the property:
• Pets of any kind
• Firearms
• Fireworks
• Jet skis
• ATVs
• No music that can be heard outside your cottage at any time.
• Quiet hours begin at 11:00 p.m.
• Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time.
• Glen Echo and its owners are not responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred by guests while on the premises or while operating boats and motors.
• Guests are fully responsible for the actions, behavior, and safety of their children and visitors.
• All facilities are for the exclusive use of registered guests and are used at your own risk.
• No lifeguard is on duty. Children must be supervised at all times.
• Guests are fully responsible for all damage or loss to boats, motors, equipment, or property.
• Damage such as broken, bent, or nicked propellers, skegs, lower units, broken window panes, or damage from submerged objects does not constitute normal wear and tear and will be billed at cost.
• All damage or equipment malfunctions must be reported immediately.
