Ice Huts Are Back - and Better Than Ever

Season: January 1 – March 15 (ice permitting)

Thoughtfully Designed, Winter-Ready: We’ve put a lot of care into these new ice huts – from LED lighting and insulated interiors to fully stocked kitchens and cozy sleeping bunks with thick foam mattresses. You’ll stay comfortable, clean, and safe on the ice, even overnight.

Whether you’re a seasoned hard-water angler or a group of friends looking for a fun weekend getaway, Glen Echo provides a high-quality ice fishing adventure built around simple comfort and attention to detail.

During your stay, you’ll have access to our main resort facilities as needed, and we’re always happy to assist with tips or anything you require. From sunrise to sundown – and even through the night in our sleeper huts – you can jig for Lake Nipissing’s famous walleye, perch, pike, and more.

After a day’s adventures on the ice, relax in the warmth of your hut or head into the cozy cottage if you’ve booked it. At Glen Echo, we make ice fishing easy, comfortable, and fun – just bring your warm clothes and sense of adventure, and we’ll take care of the rest!

– $300 deposit required to secure booking
– Check-in: 11:00 AM / Check-out: 1:00PM
– No on-ice parking – park at Glen Echo office and use shuttle service
– Ice conditions are monitored daily
– No refunds due to early departure or weather unless deemed unsafe
