Ice fishing at Glen Echo Cottages is back! We’re excited to reintroduce ice fishing for the upcoming season, and we’ve done it in a big way – with brand-new, fully equipped ice bungalow huts and a deluxe winterized cottage package. After a hiatus of several years, our return to ice fishing brings a fresh, upgraded experience. Each heated ice bungalow was designed from the ground up to offer warmth, comfort, and convenience so you can focus on enjoying the incredible winter fishing that Lake Nipissing is famous for.
Lake Nipissing is renowned for its world-class fishing, and Glen Echo Cottages puts you in the heart of the action. Our location on the south shore, near the mouth of Callander Bay, means you can fish in almost any weather – the bay and channels offer protection on windy days, and you’re minutes from open water when the lake is calm. The variety of sport fish here is impressive. Walleye (pickerel) are the star attraction – and we’re right next to one of their major spawning grounds, so the walleye fishing is outstanding in spring and fall.

We would not hesitate to recommend Glen Echo Cottages! Dave and Bethany are the amazing hosts of this awesome place, and you will not be disappointed. Having been to many similar places over the years in other provinces and states this one tops the list! The cottages are clean and well maintained, and the amenities are very good! We are looking forward to returning next year!
Visiting the location back in May with some friends. Cottages are clean and feels newly renovated. We had a lot of success with Walleye and Pike, not so much with Bass (but nobody fishes Bass up here). Would definitely recommend and look to return. Owner is very responsive to any questions we had. Also dark enough for astro photography, if you plan it right!
