Scott is always making improvements to our cottages. The following pictures show the new kitchen he’s building for Baybreeze Cottage.  Now all 11 cottages have new custom kitchens by Scott.

For those unaware of Scott’s background,  he used to build custom cabinetry for schools, accountants and  Dr.’s offices. This project has allowed him to utilize his skills:) He’s just wishing he had his commercial wood shop from our old house.
It’s amazing what he can build with the few tools he has @ his disposal.

In his ongoing quest to make Glen Echo the best it can be his next project is to make new – user friendly – bunk beds for Trailside Cottage.  These past few months he’s been working tirelessly on improving the cottages, although, he says he’s no longer a young man who can work 12 to 14 hours a day and not feel tired:)
