I love watching the deer out my front window. Scott cut down a few trees and as he was shredding them the deer came up to eat the leaves. There’s nothing better than watching the deer in their natural habitat.

Woke up to 15C and the forecast shows sporadic rain throughout the day. Our last guests will be leaving shortly and then we’ll be closed until the 3rd Saturday in May.   Just 4 cottages remaining to clean and close up for the season. I’ll go down to strip a couple today and tomorrow Fay & I will get them cleaned and close them up.

Scott is currently pulling the remaining boats and taking out the floating docks. He’ll be blowing out the water lines on Tuesday and then he’ll be starting his fall projects.
