OK…We go on vacation down to Florida and what does Scott do….He goes fishing!!!

Scott and I just returned from 2 weeks down in sunny Florida. We stayed at a lovely Inn called Hudson Dockside Inn, just a short walk to Hudson beach, and located on the shore of a canal.  Heather and Kirk own and run the Inn and made us feel right at home. They both went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Kirk graciously offered to take Scott out fishing on their 35′  centre console Tritan with 2 – 250HP Mercs. Scott jumped at the opportunity and the above photo shows one of the over 100 fish caught that day.  They went offshore approx 45 miles into the Gulf of Mexico and spent a full 8 hours on the water.

What a relaxing getaway…Long overdue.

It’s a little difficult going from 25C  to 0C but at least it’s not as cold as it has been in past years:)
